隔离墙是专门用于防止公路车辆或铁路火车发生交通意外时冲出轨道，对附近其它基础设施造成冲击灾害的隔离设施。马克菲尔曾利用加筋土技术，为米兰-博洛尼亚和米兰-都灵高速铁路线设计了隔离墙解决方案，以防止车辆离开高速公路并撞上铁路，在这两条交通线路上应用了Duna系统（一种特制的加筋土结构）。当时客户面临着工期紧张的难题，这种在工厂预生产的半成品通过工地现场的简单组装，很好的满足了客户缩短工期、降低造价的多种要求。

基于在落石防护方面的经验，马克菲尔还开发了新的 MacSafe 系统，以应对日益严重的敌对车辆入侵威胁以及提升公共场所安全性的需求。从我们在落石防护网方面的丰富经验中汲取经验，使用持久的冲击能量吸收技术，该技术还可抵御人为破坏。
