Maccaferri strengthens its leadership team by appointing Vikramjiet Roy as Head of Global Sales Performance & Strategy
The new role will support the Group’s continued evolution as a global platform for engineering solutions, strengthening commercial strategy, sales performance and cross-regional collaboration
Officine Maccaferri, today announced the appointment of Vikramjiet Roy as Head of Global Sales Performance & Strategy, reporting directly to Group CEO Stefano Susani.
Since leading the India and Southeast Asia Pacific operations, Roy has played a significant role in expanding Maccaferri’s presence in some of the world’s fastest-growing infrastructure markets, developing close-knitted customer relationships and driving sustainable growth across the region. In his new role, Roy will oversee the strengthening of the Group’s global commercial architecture, drive sales excellence initiatives, support strategic growth opportunities and market expansion programs, and foster stronger integration across regions, business units and key customer segments. As part of his new responsibilities, he will support the advancement of strategic global account management, the development of commercial capabilities, the adoption of digital sales enablement tools and the identification of revenue synergies across Maccaferri’s diversified portfolio of engineering solutions.
This appointment reflects Maccaferri’s continued evolution into a globally integrated engineering solutions company, focused on delivering innovative, sustainable and value-driven solutions to customers across a wide range of sectors, from transportation and urban infrastructure to environmental protection, from geohazard mitigation to hydraulic works and more. As the Group continues to advance its growth strategy, expand its international presence and strengthen collaboration across business units and regions, Vikramjiet Roy will lead initiatives aimed at enhancing commercial performance, improving go-to-market effectiveness and supporting the execution of the Group’s long-term strategic priorities.
To this end, his immediate priorities would include accelerating business growth in high-potential, fast-growing markets such as North America, India, South-East Asia & Pacific, and the Middle East & Africa, while leveraging the Group’s strong presence in Europe and Latin America to share best practices and proven success models across regions. Another key objective would be to drive consistent, high-quality growth in the security and resilience, Tunneling and Mining segments across a broader geographic footprint.
