Maccaferri plant in Slovakia achieves ISO14001 and 45001 certifications

Maccaferri Manufacturing Europe s.r.o.  plant  in Slovakia, has just been awarded 14 001 and 45 001 certifications following an audit by the CERTICOM certification body.

ISO 14 001 certification gives company management, staff and external stakeholders the assurance that environmental impact is being measured and improved.

ISO 45 001 certification specifies the requirements for an occupational health and safety (OHS) management system, and provides guidelines for its use, to enable organisations to provide safe and healthy workplaces, by preventing work-related injuries and illnesses and proactively improving their OHS performance.

The Maccaferri Manufacturing Europe plant is one of the nine key Manufacturing Hubs of the Maccaferri Group.

The plant is strategically located in the southwestern region of Slovakia in the city of Senica. It operates on an area of 40,000 sqm as a primary and top production center in its category, specializing primarily in geosynthetic products, which are mainly intended for the European market. It boasts impressive production capacity, efficiency and technical expertise and is a leading center in its field.
