Maccaferri presents its transportation infrastructure solutions at the Conference Forum of Rail Transport in Bratislava from the 15th-16th of March 2016
Maccaferri Central Europe will participate at the Forum of Rail Transport conference that will take place in the Hilton Hotel Double Tree, in Bratislava, from the 15th-16th of March 2016. The conference is intended for (1) general professional public, (2) representatives of state and public administrations, (3) professional and academic communities (4) director’s general and chairmen of boards of directors, (5) designing and construction companies (6) designers, architects and finally (7) supporters of rail transport.
The aim of the international professional conference Forum of Rail Transport is, to provide a space for new information, discussion and the exchange of professional views and experiences on the development, investments and innovations in railway and urban rail transport. The Forum strives to provide attendees with the possibility of finding solutions in relation to the needs of municipalities, towns and regions in the integration and cross-border traffic coordination.
The most important issues concerning the status and strategy of railway transport in Slovakia and in the European Union will be subjects of the discussion forum which will be held in the second day of the conference. During the discussion period members of the audience will be asked to pose questions to a competent panel of representatives of state and public administrations. The main topics of the conference are (1) development of railway transport in the EU and in Slovakia within 2014 – 2020, and (2) competitiveness and challenges for rail transport and integration of public passenger transport and cross-border links.
