Challenge

该项目位于武广高铁赤壁车站。挡墙的坡体上部是坡比为1：1的混凝土框架格构式护坡；地基为厚度为2~4米的软弱土层，压缩性高，地基承载力较低；受用地限制不能自然放坡，须设置近似直立式支挡结构。如果用传统浆砌挡墙或混凝土挡墙，要增大地基处理费用，且刚性基础对地基的不均匀沉降适应差。

Solution

业主组织专家对不同结构形式进行了对比分析，专家对马克菲尔公司推荐的格宾挡墙结构形式予以了充分的肯定。此柔性结构形式能够适应地基的不均匀沉降，且对地基承载力要求较低，很适宜在此工程中运用。但同时混凝土挡墙应用广泛，为传统工艺，应用比较放心，因此最终采用了以下方案： 一段采用柔性的格宾挡墙，另一段采用刚性的混凝土挡墙。 该挡墙施工到一半时，由于运送物资的原因，先前做的桥梁净高不够，需要对距离挡墙1m处的地基向下开挖2-3m，开挖以后，混凝土挡墙发生严重的水平位移及较大的不均匀沉降，甚至部分发生垮塌；而采用格宾挡墙的一侧，由于格宾挡墙柔性的结构形式对地基的不均匀沉降有较好的适应性，未发生明显沉降及水平位移，挡墙整体稳定性较好，能够继续发挥其功能作用。
