Challenge

昆山市新塘河及凤塘河为自然河道，没防护，岸坡被河水及雨水冲刷，时有小范围塌岸。而昆山市姚河泾河流经商业住宅区，已经采用预制混凝土六方块进行防护，几年下来河水的淘刷，由于地基发生不均匀沉降，而预制块不能适应这种不均匀沉降，部分河段已发生塌陷的现象，河道轮廓已严重变形。建设方想在不破坏河道原始生态的前提下找到一种经济合理的方式-----解决新塘河、凤塘河河道冲刷、沿河景观问题；解决姚河泾河流经的商业住宅区周边行车及行人的安全、沿河景观及临河房屋地基稳定问题。

Solution

经过多种方案论证比较，建设方最终选择马克菲尔提供的柔性、生态性、景观性、透水性、耐久性能好的格宾挡墙结构。 在两侧河岸修建高3.0 左右的格宾挡墙，挡墙在尽量减少施工对周围环境破坏的前提下进行修建,既保证了河道的过水能力,又解决了河道的冲刷和地基不均匀沉降而产生挡墙开裂问题,同时解决了景观问题. 格宾挡墙后铺设一层土工布作为反滤层。
