Leading with Engineering Innovation: Maccaferri Showcases Solutions at PICE Midyear 2025

Maccaferri Philippines showcases sustainable infrastructure solutions at the 2025 PICE Midyear Convention in Iloilo, supporting professional growth and engineering innovation.

Maccaferri Philippines proudly joins the Engineering Expo, 2025 PICE Midyear National Convention and Technical Conference, held from June 25–27, 2025, at the Iloilo Convention Center, Iloilo City. Organized by the Philippine Institute of Civil Engineers (PICE), this hybrid national gathering brings together civil engineering professionals, academics, government partners, and private sector leaders under the theme: “Empowering Membership, Promoting Specialization: Building a Stronger PICE for the Preferred Future.”

Showcasing Engineered Solutions for Resilient Infrastructure

As a long-time advocate of innovative, sustainable, and cost-effective engineering solutions, Maccaferri Philippines takes an active role in this year’s Midyear Convention, bringing its global expertise and local project experience to the forefront.

Through our exhibition booth and technical presentations, Maccaferri highlights advanced solutions in the areas of:

  • Retaining Structures and Slope Protection using Gabions, Terramesh® System, and Green Terramesh®
  • Flood Mitigation and River Training Works with Reno Mattresses and erosion control systems
  • Geosynthetic Applications for soil reinforcement, filtration, and separation
  • Sustainable Infrastructure aligned with climate resilience and environmental stewardship

A Platform for Collaboration and Professional Growth

Participating in the 2025 PICE Midyear Convention provided Maccaferri Philippines with a valuable opportunity to support the continued professional development of civil engineers across the country. By sharing our technical expertise and showcasing real-world applications of our solutions, we contributed to PICE’s mission of promoting specialization and elevating engineering standards. Beyond knowledge exchange, the event also fostered meaningful collaboration with local government units, design consultants, contractors, and fellow exhibitors. It was a productive space for dialogue, idea-sharing, and exploring new partnerships aimed at solving the country’s most pressing infrastructure challenges through innovation and engineering excellence.

Commitment to Nation-Building

Maccaferri’s involvement in the 2025 PICE Midyear Convention reaffirms our commitment to engineering a better Philippines, one that prioritizes safety, sustainability, and long-term structural integrity. We extend our thanks to PICE National and PICE Iloilo Chapter for organizing a successful and meaningful event, and we look forward to further engagements that promote innovation, learning, and collaboration in the industry.
