Over the years, Maccaferri has developed a wide range of solutions that can be tailored to embrace these challenges. Our aim has always been to combine the best performance of our solutions with the aesthetic requirements of housing developments.
The Maccaferri MacWall system consists of modular concrete blocks and geogrids (Paragrid, Paragrid W or MacGrid WG) placed between compacted layers of backfill and connected to the block by means of friction. This segmental block system is typically installed in its nearly vertical configuration, but sloped versions are also available. The wide geogrid portfolio allows for the selection of the best combination to fit the project requirements.
The system, originally used in landscaping and residential areas, is also suitable for infrastructural environments, thanks to its flexibility and capacity to withstand significant seismic loadings. The MacWall construction process is easy and the blocks are versatile, available in a wide range of colours, sizes and shapes to meet the architectural requirements.
