Protecting Thailand’s Coastlines – Beach Cleanup at Laem Chabang

At Laem Chabang Beach, Sriracha, Chonburi, Thailand’s coastlines are facing increasing environmental challenges, including coastal erosion, pollution, and the loss of critical marine habitats. These issues not only threaten the environment but also impact the livelihoods of local communities.

 

At Maccaferri, we believe that small actions lead to big changes. That’s why we are committed to protecting and restoring coastal ecosystems. Marine pollution is a major threat, with thousands of marine species suffering from plastic waste every year.

 

To help combat this issue, we organized a beach cleanup at Laem Chabang Beach, removing 30 kilograms of plastic waste and debris, including bottles, bags, cigarette butts, and other pollutants.

 

This effort is a step toward preserving the beauty and health of our coastlines for future generations.
