Paramesh Solution by Maccaferri for the stability of Daarut Tauhid Mosque, Batam
The existing concrete retaining wall at Daarut Tauhid Mosque as high as 12 m is located between the mosque and public facility at the bottom of the slope. Landslides can endanger community activities, so a solution is needed.
The high rainfall caused erosions and several cracks in the existing retaining wall at the Daarut Tauhid Mosque which could endanger the activities of the surrounding community. The innovative retaining wall structure using the Paramesh Wall is the recommendation by Maccaferri Indonesia.
Daarut Tauhid Mosque with an area of 2,374.7 m2 is located on Jl. Trans Barelang, Tembesi, Sagulung, Batam City, Riau Islands. High rainfall causes the risk of erosions and several cracks in the existing retaining wall at Daarut Tauhid Mosque, Batam, Riau Islands. The erosion exposed the foundation of the mosque. The existing 12 m high concrete retaining wall is located between the Daarut Tauhid Mosque at the top of the slope and the soccer field at the bottom of the slope. From the soil data, the groundwater level is obtained at a depth of 6 m from the ground surface. Landslides can endanger community activities, so a solution is needed.
