As a part of the Engineering Your Career program we are promoting the essentials of our core products
A group of civil engineering students learned the fundamentals of the assembly process and then put their acquired knowledge into practice by building a small wall with us
As a part of our Engineering Your Career (EYC) program, we organized the first gabion assembly workshop with the Universidad Anahuac Queretaro. Our technical department’s specialists Gilberto Cabrera and Diego Lopez first explained the gabion assembly to the students, emphasizing the points that were going to be evaluated during the later activity. These included:
1. Stone accommodation
2. The gabion’s vertical faces
After the presentation, we built with the students a small gabion wall measuring 10 meters long. In total, 25 students divided into five groups participated in the assembly process. They all showed a great attitude and teamwork spirit.
This workshop is part of the Engineering Your Career program, an initiative which has been exclusively created to allow students to learn from the expertise and know-how of our engineers.
