The Rehabilitation of the Shëngjin – Baks-Rrjoll Road is a 13 km infrastructure project located within the municipalities of Shkodër and Lezhë. The road is situated along the Adriatic seaside and passes through mountainous terrain affected by rockfall risks. The project includes excavation works, embankment filling, construction of new structures, subbase and base layers, and the paving of new asphalt layers along the entire road segment. Additional works involve the installation of modern road safety measures, including vertical and horizontal signage and guardrails. The rehabilitation will improve connectivity along the coast, increase road safety, and support tourism development and new investments in the area. The project is financed by the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development.
