Diese temporäre Stützauskleidung besteht aus Stahlverstärkungselementen wie H-Trägern und automatisierten Tunnelrippen aus Rundrohr , die in stahlfaserverstärktem Spritzbeton eingebettet oder mit diesem verfüllt werden.

Die automatisierten Tunnelrippen sind so entwickelt, dass sie sich der Kontur des Tunnels anpassen. Sie sind so konstruiert, dass sie die höchste Leistung erreichen und den extremsten lithostatischen Drücken standhalten.
