Road stabilization in Totonicanapá

The containment project located in Totonicapán is a vital initiative directly benefiting the municipality and the departments of Quetzaltenango and Santa Cruz del Quiché. The Terramesh system with MacGrid WG mono-oriented geogrids was utilized to address the erosion issue along the main road connecting five communities. With a height of 48 meters, the project was necessary due to significant erosion affecting the road, posing a threat to the community.
