Maccaferri’s simple and pinned drapery systems featuring SteelGrid™HR, RockMesh®, and High Energy Absorption (HEA) Panels, offer the highest tensile and punch strength available in the market. Providing high strength at low elongation and deformation, these systems are engineered for the most demanding rockfall mitigation projects.
MacMat®R and MacMat®HS provide a two-layer composite of a turf reinforcement mat extruded on to a high-strength steel wire mesh, allowing for simple and fast installation of a single layer. Their high-strength and stiffness allow for greater surface soil stabilization, resulting in greater anchor spacing and cost-savings to the owner.
Maccaferri’s Dynamic Rockfall Barriers are designed to intercept boulders and rocks with energy capacities ranging from 35 kJ to 8500 kJ. These barriers are independently tested to the highest industry standards, ensuring the greatest level of performance and reliability.
Maccaferri’s Hybrid Barriers and Attenuators combine the energy absorption capabilities of dynamic rockfall barriers with the reduced maintenance of rockfall draperies. Maccaferri’s systems have been tested and proven to provide among the highest level of performance available in the industry.
Maccaferri Debris Flow and Shallow Landslide Barriers are tested and certified to tackle the toughest geohazard mitigation challenges. These systems are robust and adaptable, because of the patented energy-dissipating devices, ensuring resilience and effectiveness in even the most active geohazard zones.
Rockfall embankments are scalable to suit each hazard where large or repeated impacts are expected including landslides, rockfalls, and avalanches. Embankments can be designed to any height featuring reinforced soil designs to withstand impact energies of over 20,000 kJ.
