Transforming Infrastructure: Strengthening Soil and Pavement with Geosynthetics
Soil stability is a major challenge in construction, often leading to weak foundations and early road deterioration.
Soil stabilization involves placing geosynthetics as a tensile element within the sub-base course to improve service life and provide equivalent performance with a reduced thickness of the sub-base. Geosynthetics can also be placed within the asphalt pavement layer to increase the pavement’s service life by preventing fatigue and reflective cracking.
Learn as we cover case histories, design concepts, and applications for both soil stabilization and pavement reinforcement.
