Maccaferri Malaysia was honored to participate in the HKIE Geotechnical Division 45th Annual Seminar, held on 9 May 2025 at the Jockey Club Auditorium, Hong Kong Polytechnic University. The seminar, themed “Advancing Geotechnical Practice: Sustainable Solutions to Land & Infrastructure Developments”, attracted over 600 participants both in-person and online .

The event featured keynote addresses by Prof. CHU Jian from Nanyang Technological University and Ir Dr Julian S H KWAN from the Hong Kong SAR Government, setting the stage for insightful discussions. The seminar’s sessions delved into:

• Geotechnical Control and Underground Construction
• Advances in Foundation Engineering for Infrastructure Development
• Frontiers in Geotechnical Research and Practice

Our team engaged with fellow professionals, sharing Maccaferri’s innovative solutions in slope stabilization, soil reinforcement, and erosion control, all aimed at promoting sustainable and resilient infrastructure.
