Jakarta, June 11, 2025 – At the Indo Defence Expo 2024, held in JIEXPO Kemayoran, Maccaferri Indonesia demonstrated its strategic role as a provider of engineering solutions that not only support national defence needs but also play a key role in disaster mitigation, infrastructure recovery, and protection of high-risk areas.

Under the theme “Defence Partnerships for Global Peace & Stability,” Maccaferri introduced a range of engineering solutions relevant to modern military, civil security, and disaster response needs—addressing both global and local challenges.

Integrated Solutions for Preparedness and Protection

During the exhibition, Maccaferri showcased several reliable systems, including:

• EBS MAC (Expeditionary Barrier System) – A modular barrier used to protect critical infrastructure, logistics hubs, and temporary shelters in post-disaster areas. It is easy to deploy, flexible, and built to NATO standards.

• EBS MAC FE – A specialized version for flood control, ideal for fast response in natural disaster scenarios.

• MacSafe® – Designed for public areas to protect vital facilities from potential threats posed by uncontrolled vehicles.

• Anti-Drone Protection and Ground Stabilization – Rockfall barriers repurposed as aerial obstacle systems, applicable both vertically and horizontally. ACBM and SubMac are used for rapid ground stabilization, suitable for emergency tracks, logistics access, or temporary infrastructure zones. Green Terramesh™ and ParaGrid™ are also effective as energy-dissipating structures and additional protection in sensitive areas—while supporting environmental preservation and landscape safety.

Supporting Strategic Infrastructure in the Defence Sector

The Maccaferri booth welcomed a wide range of visitors from government agencies, disaster management institutions, and defence sectors—including representatives from TNI Zeni, who explored the application of these systems for strategic infrastructure development and post-disaster rehabilitation.
