GEOSYNTHETICS WORLD

Geosynthetics are used for countless applications, including strengthening existing ground, improving its bearing capacity, making highways last longer, supporting embankments such as in MSE Wall systems, stopping landfill leachates from contaminating the ground, and limiting erosion.

With defined technical characteristics and performance properties, geosynthetics like geotextiles, geocomposites, and geomembranes are replacing the use of natural materials within construction. These products, including geosynthetic geomembranes and geosynthetic liners, are proven to reduce project cost and environmental impact compared with traditional construction methods.

REINFORCEMENT

For over 30 years, geogrids have reinforced and strengthened soils, enabling the soil to perform better than it would in its unreinforced state. High tensile strength geogrid systems can accommodate greater loads, stand at steeper angles, and reduce settlement. These systems are commonly integrated with MSE Wall solutions for optimal performance, using geogrid uniaxial and geogrid biaxial types.

STABILISATION & ASPHALT REINFORCEMENT

Whether you are constructing a railway track bed, a gravel forestry track over soft soil, or resurfacing a multi-lane highway carrying thousands of vehicles per day, we have the technical knowledge and geosynthetic solutions. Woven geotextiles, non woven geotextiles, and geocomposites are utilized to improve rail track, road, and asphalt pavement performance, offering reinforcement geosynthetics solutions.

DRAINAGE

Excessive water in soil weakens it, causing various issues. Managing water behind walls, highways, tunnels, and environmental caps is vital for long-term structure performance. Our drainage solutions often integrate geocomposites and non woven geotextiles to ensure efficient water management. We also provide vertical drain systems that enhance soil stability by facilitating efficient water removal.

SEPARATION/ FILTRATION/ PROTECTION

Our geotextiles, including woven geotextile and non woven geotextile types, are widely used in geotechnical and hydraulic engineering applications, providing critical separation, filtration, and protection functions. Filtration geotextile products help maintain soil stability while allowing water to pass through, crucial in landfill mining and slope stabilization.

BARRIER SYSTEMS

Geomembranes and geosynthetic barriers are essential for preventing the migration of fluids from one location to another. Applications include lining landfills to stop leachate from polluting groundwater, controlling groundwater entering tunnels, and creating attenuation ponds within developments.
