Industry experts tackle how blue and green spaces aid in sustainability during TFT Watchlist Summit 2024
Jayakrishnan Puthiya Veettil, our regional technical manager for MEAT region, was invited last week to share the panel on "Landscape Design for a Changing Climate: Reshaping the Blueprint Incorporating Blue and Green Spaces", organized by New Perspective Media Group and TFT watchlist. The session was moderated by Dr. Karen Remo, CEO and Founder of New Perspective Media Group.
As a representative of a company that has already been involved in some of the most iconic landscaping projects in the Middle East such as ‘Museum of the Future’ and ‘Doha Expo 2023’, he emphasized in the discussions the potential for geosynthetics in blue spaces (for waterproofing & drainage) and green spaces (for soil retention, stabilization, & smart irrigation needs) and their quantified sustainability benefits.
