Produk tersebut diproduksi dengan peralatan tekstil yang mampu menganyam benang PET menjadi kain jadi. Ini dapat berupa tekstil woven (MacTEX W2) atau komposit sebagai kombinasi dari geotekstil nonwoven penyaringan-separasi dengan geotekstil rajutan (Geotekstil Struktur Berorientasi Arah). Material ini mampu menggabungkan fungsi perkuatan dan separasi/filtrasi dalam satu komposit yang banyak digunakan dalam aplikasi stabilisasi atau perkuatan tanah. Produk ini sebagian besar ada di tanah lunak karena untuk aplikasi tanah granular, geogrid paling cocok.
