Systèmes de protection contre les chutes de blocs en fil d'acier
Le grillage Maccaferri DT est un composant essentiel de notre application MacRO d’atténuation des chutes de pierres et de protection contre les risques naturels. Il fait partie d’une gamme de systèmes de grillage qui sont sélectionnés en fonction de notre analyse des conditions du site du projet et des exigences du client. Utilisé depuis plus de 50 ans, notre grillage DT est conçu à partir de notre fil d’acier hexagonal tissé à double torsion et est utilisé pour empêcher les roches et les débris de tomber sur les routes et les voies ferrées. Grâce aux caractéristiques de la double torsion, le grillage en acier peut résister à la force de poinçonnement des roches qui tombent et sans se dégrader en cas de rupture du fil.
Le grillage DT est fabriqué à partir de fils d’acier de haute qualité, qui sont fortement galvanisés pour assurer une protection à long terme contre la corrosion. Un revêtement de protection supplémentaire en polymère est également appliqué pour les grillages qui doivent être utilisés dans des environnements extrêmes, ou lorsqu’une durée de vie plus longue est requise. Nos grillages DT sont fabriqués dans nos usines à travers le monde. Dans certaines usines, les grillages sont produits conformément à la réglementation CPR - Construction Product Regulation 305/2011, avec un marquage CE conforme à la norme ETA-16/0758. Le système de gestion et de production est certifié conforme aux normes ISO 9001 et ISO 14001 (relatives au système de gestion environnementale).

A thriving beaver population is threatening the stability of the Netherlands' sea defences. The Mammal Society has brought together other wildlife groups to work out how to protect these important water-blocking dykes from the small but potentially destructive semi-aquatic rodents. Beavers play an important ecological role in the Netherlands and were initially brought in to increase biodiversity. The beaver-breeding program began in 1988, and since then the beaver population has grown exponentially. There are now an estimated 700 beavers residing in the country's streams and canals. Triumphant mating habits combined with the beavers' ability to breed so successfully in the Dutch countryside mean they have been moving beyond the southern province of Limburg and entering towns and cities that may not be prepared for the influx. With the Dutch beaver population expected to hit around 7,000 by 2032, the need to take pre-emptive action is now a very important theme.

Museum of the Future - GREEN COVERAGE AND DRAINAGE SYSTEM

The Museum of the Future (MOTF) is a unique initiative by the Dubai government that explores the future of science, technology, and innovation and will be located at a prime spot in Sheikh Zayed Road and near the Burj Khalifa. The architect Kila designed MOTF in three main parts: the lower green hill, the upper building, and the elliptical void, representing earth, mankind & innovation, respectively. The inspiration for the green hill was also to elevate the building calmly and unobtrusively above the metro line and create greenery in elevation where visitors can enjoy while engaging with the Museum. The green hill is to be done through a smooth transition from the site as an earthen, vegetated mound with a minimal visible built intervention. A three-story podium structure will be embedded inside the green hill, which will house the lobby, auditorium, cafés, restaurants, retail, car parking, etc. For the aforementioned reasons, the vegetated mount must be done as a THIN CLADDING of varying slopes rather than a solid earth hill.
