Using the MacREAD design software, our products and solutions are used to improve road and asphalt pavement performance even in the most challenging of situations; from a gravel forestry track over soft soils, or resurfacing a multi-lane highway carrying many thousands of vehicles per day.
Our advanced Road Mesh grids can structurally reinforce the asphalt pavement, reducing rutting and increasing fatigue life. Glass-fibre geogrids can stabilise and strengthen the pavement, preventing reflective cracking. Polymeric geogrids interlock with granular sub-grades to stiffen the road foundations improving performance.
A common result of the use of these techniques is a reduction in the thickness of construction materials needed to maintain performance and fatigue life; not only a cost saving, but a reduction in the carbon footprint of the solution.
We use state-of-the-art design software, featuring various design methodologies, to optimize the reinforcement and the required thickness of the pavement layers.
