Πλέγμα υψηλής δυσκαμψίας για προστασία από βραχοπτώσεις
Τα HEA Panels (Υψηλής Ενεργειακής Απορρόφησης) της Maccaferri είναι τα πλέον άκαμπτα προϊόντα στη σειρά συστημάτων από πλέγμα Mac.RO(TM) και προσφέρουν εξαιρετική αντοχή με χαμηλή καταπόνηση. Η ακαμψία είναι πιο σημαντική από την αντοχή εφελκυσμού στα πλέγματα δεδομένου ότι επηρεάζει την εκτροπή του συστήματος υπό φορτίο. Τα πάνελ πλέκονται από ένα μόνο συνεχές υψηλής αντοχής εφελκυσμού συρματόσχοινο ενώ στα σημεία που διασταυρώνονται τα συρματόσχοινα αυτά ενώνονται με τον πατενταρισμένο σύνδεσμο HEA 'double knot'.
Αντίθετα με τα πλέγματα μονής πλέξης spiral συρματόσχοινου, η παραγωγή των HEA Panels παρέχει εξαιρετική συμπεριφορά σε πίεση/καταπόνηση με τη λιγότερη δυνατή παραμόρφωση. Τα HEA Panels χρησιμοποιούνται σε εφαρμογές πλήρως αγκυρούμενου πλέγματος όπου απαιτείται ένα σύστημα χαμηλής εκτροπής και υψηλής αντοχής. Λόγω της πολυ-αξονικής λειτουργίας του πάνελ, τα φορτία μεταφέρονται στα αγκύρια στη μετώπη του πρανούς άσχετα με τη διάταξη των αγκυρίων.
Τα πατενταρισμένα σημεία σύνδεσης παράγονται από δύο δεσίματα, το καθένα από τα οποία παράγεται δημιουργώντας ένα βρόγχο από ένα ζευγάρι χαλύβδινων συρμάτων διαμέτρου 3.00 mm με επικάλυψη Galmac (κράμα Ψευδάργυρου/Αλουμινίου 5%). Τα δύο αυτά δεσίματα τυλίγουν σφικτά τα διασταυρούμενα συρματόσχοινα. Το πάνελ κατασκευάζεται με τετράγωνα ανοίγματα που παράγονται από ένα συρματόσχοινο και ασφαλίζονται από δακτύλιο αλουμινίου, σύμφωνα με το EN 13411-3.

CANTERA ZIORDIA
The Ziordia quarry has an orography formed by limestone rock, with steep slopes as a result of quarrying, and potentially unstable large blocks. The company CRS Ingeniería contacted Bianchini Ingeniero to analyse the situation and possible solutions, and subsequently the company Inaccés Geotècnica Vertical also intervened. One of the main risks was the blocks that could fall from a 40-metre-high, 15-metre-wide mochón, located on one of the quarry's usual passageways. This represented a potential risk for the installations and the workers themselves. Therefore, a series of actions were carried out to stabilise these blocks and protect the area.

The danger of rockfalls that can block the road is well-documented and has already caused the complete isolation of certain towns a few years ago, as well as the closure of this access to Italy. Beyond the safety of people and property, this situation has a significant economic impact on access to ski resorts, the organization of major media events, and the flow of trucks to Italy. Securing this road became essential.

The Francisco Abellán reservoir is located near the town of Lopera, in the center of the province of Granada. It is fed mainly by the tributary of the river Fardes, which in turn is fed by the river Guadiana Menor and covers an area of 1847. 40 km2. The reservoir contains Miocene sedimentary materials such as sandstones, marlstones and calcarenites. In the extreme north-east, there is an alternation of these three materials and two problems: The first is in the upper sandstone bench due to the presence of unstable blocks, some of them of large size. The second problem is in the lower bank, where unstable blocks and roofs are also observed as a result of differential erosion. On the other hand, on the northwest slope (NW) there is access to the monitoring station which is unprotected against falling rocks.
