In the initial phase of the project in question, it was necessary to carry out extensive earthworks on a previously uneven and sloped terrain. The main goal of this earthmoving was to create a level and suitable surface for the construction of a high-end residence. However, due to the rugged topography of the site, the earth-moving activities resulted in the formation of a slope with a height exceeding 10 meters.

The slope, characterized by its steep incline, created a challenging situation that required the implementation of containment measures to ensure the stability of the terrain and the safety of the construction. In this situation, the construction company requested technical support from Maccaferri, where a technical study was developed, considering a solution using a reinforced soil retaining wall, specifically the Terramesh System.
