Challenge

Havia a necessidade de se prolongar a Av. Guedner, uma importante via da cidade de Maringá, ligando a região central aos bairros da zonal sul, uma região em expansão. O traçado desse prolongamento previa a passagem pelo Contorno Metropolitano Sul, porém por uma questão de segurança foi decidido que a melhor solução seria por meio de um viaduto.

Solution

A solução adotada foi uma contenção em solo reforçado com bloco modular de concreto MacWall® e geogrelha MacGrid® WG, com seção crítica de 8m de altura que tem como função tanto a contenção do aterro como apoio para o viaduto.
