Challenge

The Marine Department of Chiangmai wanted an economical lining option for the Mae Kha Channel. The Mae Kha Channel was an existing unlined channel which was facing scouring action by the water flowing through it.

Solution

The galvanized Reno mattress lining designed by Maccaferri offered a more economical alternative to the Marine Department as compared to a traditional concrete lining.
