A slope collapse occurred in the area, creating immediate safety concerns for nearby infrastructure and road users. The instability of the slope increased the risk of falling debris and further soil movement, particularly during periods of rainfall. Without proper intervention, the affected area remained vulnerable to additional erosion and potential rockfall incidents, posing ongoing hazards and possible disruption to surrounding activities.

To address the issue, an active rockfall protection system was installed to stabilize the affected slope and prevent further material displacement. The solution included the use of rockfall netting to contain loose rocks and surface debris, reducing the risk of falling material. In addition, MacMat erosion control mat was applied to protect the slope surface from erosion and to support vegetation growth for long-term stability. Together, these measures reinforced the slope, improved safety conditions, and provided a practical and efficient stabilization solution.
