Challenge

El municipio de Hueyotlipan cuenta con extensas áreas de cultivo la cual impulsa la economía del mismo, aguas arriba se presenta un problema de azolves los cuales llegan al vaso del almacenamiento de la presa, esto limita el volumen requerido para abastecer el riego de cultivo al tener sedimento acumulado.

Solution

Aguas arriba se proyectaron 2 presas filtrantes con gaviones, una proyectada para el escurrimiento de la barranca Huitecos y la segunda para la barranca Coyotes, esto evita que la suma de los gastos llegue al cauce principal y a su vez impide que el azolve y/o sedimentos lleguen a la presa Lázaro Cárdenas y limiten la correcta operación de la presa.
