Challenge

Como parte de las operaciones de la unidad minera Cori Puno, se necesitaba la construcción del recrecimiento de la presa de relaves la cual pronto llegaría a su capacidad máxima de almacenamiento. Debido a la importancia de la obra, se requería una solución inmediata para evitar interrumpir las operaciones de la mina.

Solution

La solución propuesta por el consultor del proyecto fue conformar en varias etapas el recrecimiento de la presa mediante muros de contención de Gaviones Caja con geomembrana en toda la corona de la misma. La solución presentó ventajas tanto técnicas como económicas para la construcción del proyecto.
