Advanced Solutions for Erosion Control and Soil Reinforcement
Geomats are made of synthetic material filaments. The filaments are heat-tangled together to form a three-dimensional, highly deformable and of high porosity (normally around 90% or even higher) layer. Geomats are a suitable permanent long-term solution able to manage erosion control problems in either dry or wet environments. These mats can properly protect a slope from the erosion caused by the water flux of rain drops, rills or rivers.

DEADMAN WASH, TSMC CHANNEL INFRASTRUCTURE
United States
They needed to protect their new infrastructure from erosion caused by the Deadman Wash in North Phoenix Arizona. They needed to re-grade a channel that was 2 miles long, 300 ft wide and 6 ft tall to divert the storm water and prevent soil loss at the bed and banks. We also used semi-rigid hydraulic protection to suit the arid climate of the region. They needed to complete the project in a short time, with enough monetary savings and approval from the Maricopa Flood Control District. The Installation of the project was performed by BUESING Corporation Contracting.

FESTIVAL SUPERMALL MOUND PROMONTORY
Filinvest Land Incorporated (FLI), one of the country’s top land developers, expanded and upgraded an existing shopping mall complex, the Festival Supermall, located in the southern part of Metro Manila. The mall features a scenic landscape of terrains and flats, and right at the heart of the mall's green landscapes was a proposed mound promontory. The promontory is a naturally-cut slope with average facing angle of 70 degrees. A visit to the site was first conducted in the first quarter of 2015. The top portion of the mound was planned to be used as a small park and as a viewing deck. In this, to protect the cut slopes of the mound promontory against possible erosion due to rainfall and surface runoff, FLI required a slope protection system.

HAMILO COAST
Philippines
Hamilo Coast boasts 5,800 hectares of green land, bordered by 32 kilometers of coastline situated in the northwest portion of Batangas, Philippines. It has 13 coves of white sand beaches and home to luxurious residential community. The construction of Pico de Loro Cove, one of the finest of the 13 coves, has started. Construction of the access road going to Pico de Loro required cutting of some portions of slopes. Erosion problem occurred when, after cutting slopes for the access roads, the lower and the upper cut slopes were then exposed to weather. The developer requested immediate solution to stop soil erosion, and it must also promote vegetation on the slopes to blend with the required green landscapes of the project.
