With a focus on transferring its leading knowledge capital about this range of Maccaferri’s products, the course would be ideal for construction professionals wanting to deepen their skills in this key solution for the African continent.

In detail, the free 3-hour gabion training will cover the compliance with the SANS 1200 DK civil engineering standard, which ensures a well packed, structurally sound, durable and attractive gabion structure that can be easily and quickly assembled by semi-skilled and unskilled labour.

Maccaferri’s gabions offer a variety of applications in the civil engineering sector, which range from costal protection and other hydraulic works to their deployment as retaining walls, or soil reinforcement applications.
