Maccaferri Inc. has registered as an exhibitor for the 2017 Geotechnical Frontiers conference that will be held March 12-15, 2017 at the Hyatt Regency Orlando, Orlando, FL.
The event is organized by the Industrial Fabrics Association International‘s Geosynthetic Materials Association and the American Society of Civil Engineer’s (ASCE) Geo-Institute. It is supported by the North American Geosynthetics Society (NAGS) under the auspices of the International Geosynthetics Society (IGS).
This is the third edition (that is held every six years) of the popular co-organized event combining the annual GeoCongress and bi-annual Geosynthetics conferences. This event was known as Geofrontiers.
Geotechnical Frontiers 2017 is the largest geotechnical trade event in North America.
The Geotechnical Frontiers 2017 theme is Innovation and Collaboration in Technology and Practice, and attendees will see a large array of all the major new developments in geotechnical engineering and technologies: the organizers in fact expect to have more than 2,000 geotechnical professionals attendees.
The four-day event will feature more than 200 exhibits, a comprehensive program of short courses, panel discussions, training lectures, workshops and technical papers that will be presented by top industry experts.
Geosynthetics are becoming commonplace within the construction markets. They are used for countless applications including: to strengthen existing ground, improve its bearing capacity, make highways last longer, support embankments, stop landfill leachates contaminating the ground and limit erosion.
