    Maccaferri Philippines participated in the 22nd Southeast Asian Geotechnical Society (SEAGS) Conference<\/strong> and the 5th Association of Geotechnical Societies in Southeast Asia (AGSSEA) Conference<\/strong>, held on 28\u201329 January 2026<\/strong> at Shangri-La The Fort, Bonifacio Global City, Taguig City<\/strong>. The event gathered geotechnical professionals, academics, and industry leaders from across Southeast Asia to exchange knowledge and discuss advancements in geotechnical engineering.<\/p>\n

    With the theme \u201cAdvancing Geotechnics for a Resilient and Sustainable Future: Mitigating Multi-hazards amidst Changing Climate<\/strong>,\u201d the conference highlighted the critical role of geotechnical engineering in addressing climate-driven risks and complex ground conditions. Technical sessions over the first two days covered key topics such as ground investigation, foundation systems, soil-structure interaction, slope stability, and resilient infrastructure design.<\/p>\n

    These discussions provided valuable insights into current challenges and emerging solutions relevant to infrastructure development in the Philippines and the wider Southeast Asian region.<\/p>\n
