    The section of the National Highway in Bambang, Nueva Vizcaya faced a critical challenge: unstable slopes prone to rockfall incidents. This posed serious risks to transportation, residential areas, and the lives of commuters traversing the vital corridor. The absence of natural barriers magnified the threat, necessitating an urgent, reliable solution to safeguard infrastructure and public safety.<\/p>\n

    Maccaferri\u2019s advanced geotechnical solutions were deployed to mitigate the rockfall hazard. By combining Steel Grid HR 30 and MacMat EM 14.3, the project provided active slope protection tailored to the region’s needs. These solutions not only addressed immediate risks but also contributed to long-term slope stabilization and resilience.<\/p>\n
