1. Contest Organizer:<\/strong>
The “GabionLens Photography Challenge” is organized by Maccaferri SEAP Region, representing subsidiaries in Malaysia, Indonesia, Philippines, and Thailand. By entering the contest, each participant agrees to these Terms and Conditions.<\/p>\n

2. Contest Period:<\/strong>
The contest runs from October 23, 2024, to February 28, 2025.<\/p>\n

3. Eligibility:<\/strong>
The contest is open to all Maccaferri SEAP Region customers and distributors. Employees of Maccaferri and their immediate family members are not eligible to participate.<\/p>\n

4. Prizes:<\/strong>
Submit your best shots for a chance to win fantastic prizes:
\u2022 1st Prize: Apple iPad Air M2 11″ (256GB)
\u2022 2nd Prize: 2x Samsung Galaxy Watch 7 (Bluetooth)
\u2022 3rd Prize: 3x Samsung Galaxy Buds 3
\u2022 Consolation Prizes: Gift Certificates
Note: All prizes are provided by Maccaferri and are non-transferable, and cannot be exchanged for cash or other items. Apple and Samsung are not sponsors or endorsers of this contest.<\/p>\n

5. Submission Guidelines:<\/strong>
I. All photos must be original, taken by the participant, and must relate to the theme: Maccaferri\u2019s Gabion Projects.
II. Entries should be submitted via [entry form<\/a>] by February 28, 2025, in high-resolution JPG format.
III. Each participant may submit up to 5 photos, with each photo not exceeding 20MB.
IV. Photos containing watermarks, signatures, branding, or that are AI-generated or heavily AI-enhanced will be disqualified. Minor adjustments using photo editing software (e.g., cropping, color correction) are allowed, but the core photo must remain an authentic representation of the scene.
V. Any photo deemed inappropriate or offensive will be disqualified.<\/p>\n

6. Judging Criteria:<\/strong>
Photos will be judged based on the following criteria:
\u2022 Visual Impact (40%) \u2013 The photo should be captivating and immediately draw attention, with a strong aesthetic appeal that leaves a lasting impression of the gabion installation.
\u2022 Creativity (30%) \u2013 The photo should showcase unique perspectives, innovative composition, or an imaginative approach in presenting Maccaferri\u2019s gabion installations.
\u2022 Relevance (30%) \u2013 The photo must clearly align with the theme of Maccaferri\u2019s gabion projects, highlighting their role in transforming landscapes, protecting communities, or blending with nature.<\/p>\n

7. Ownership and Usage Rights:<\/strong>
I. By submitting photos, participants agree to transfer ownership rights to Maccaferri.
II. Maccaferri retains the right to use, edit, publish, and distribute the photos for promotional purposes.
III. Submitted photos may be used by Maccaferri in various promotional materials, including digital platforms, print publications, social media, and advertisements.
IV. Photos cannot be returned.<\/p>\n

8. Notification of Winners:<\/strong>
I. Winners will be selected and notified via email within two weeks after the contest ends.
II. Winners will receive an official email with instructions on how to claim their prizes. Participants must provide accurate contact information during the submission process.
III. Winners must respond to the email notification within 7 days to confirm their acceptance of the prize and provide any additional information required for prize delivery. Failure to respond within the specified time frame may result in disqualification, and the prize may be awarded to the next eligible participant.<\/p>\n

9. Liability:<\/strong>
Maccaferri is not responsible for any technical issues, lost, incomplete, misdirected, or delayed submissions, or any other issues that prevent a participant from successfully entering the contest. Maccaferri is not liable for any damages, injuries, losses, or claims related to participation in the contest or acceptance, possession, use, or misuse of any prize. By participating, participants agree to release and hold harmless Maccaferri, its subsidiaries, affiliates, employees, and agents from any and all liability, including but not limited to claims arising from personal injury, property damage, or loss that may occur directly or indirectly in connection with the contest.<\/p>\n

10. Disqualification:<\/strong>
Maccaferri reserves the right to disqualify any participant who breaches these Terms and Conditions or engages in fraudulent activity.<\/p>\n

11. Modification or Cancellation:<\/strong>
Maccaferri reserves the right to modify or cancel the contest at any time, for any reason, without prior notice.<\/p>\n

12. Dispute Resolution:<\/strong>
In the event of any disputes regarding the contest, the decision of Maccaferri will be final and binding. Disputes will be governed by the laws of the Philippines, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.<\/p>\n\n
