    Sungai Golok sets as a boundary between the Malaysia\/ Thailand border in Rantau Panjang, Kelantan. During the monsoon season, massive volume of water flowed into Sungai Golok causing flood to the low lying area near the river.<\/p>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n

    The Jabatan Pengairan dan Saliran (JPS) of Kelantan used Reno Mattress to protect the newly built river bank from scouring and erosion instigated by the swift flow of water. Scouring was so severe along the river bend that it threatens the safety of the local residents, where houses were on the verge of collapsing. Total of Reno Mattresses laid for this project was about 70,000m\u00b2. MacTex Geotextiles was also used to prevent any washing through of select fill materials.<\/p>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>
