Held at the Connexion Conference &amp; Event Centre, Nexus, the event brought together approximately <strong>80 engineers and geotechnical professionals<\/strong> from across the industry.<\/p>\n\n<p>The seminar offered a comprehensive exploration of the latest advancements in geosynthetic materials and applications. Key topics included reinforced fills, ground improvement with prefabricated vertical drains (PVD), stabilization of pavement layers, geosynthetics for coastal protection, and environmental containment systems. Through a full-day programme, the event emphasized the critical role of geosynthetics in delivering sustainable, cost-effective, and high-performance solutions in modern civil engineering.<\/p>\n\n<p>At our exhibition booth, Maccaferri showcased the <strong>Paramesh system<\/strong>, our signature solution for mechanically stabilized earth (MSE) structures. Designed with high-strength geogrids and modular facing elements, Paramesh provides engineers with a versatile, durable option for slope reinforcement and retaining wall construction.
