Italian President Sergio Mattarella, recently visited Indonesia to leverage friendship and sales relationships between these two countries.
During a meeting at the Lemhannas Institute aiming to promote the local management, President Mattarella promoted the new trend of Italy “a country that is willing to grow fast after the long crisis, also thank to the boost coming from the just concluded Expo2015“.
In order to illustrate this development, especially the one involving Indonesia and, more extensively, whole Asia, he mentioned a selected number of Italian companies able to make the difference. Office Maccaferri was in that number together with Eni, Astaldi and Finmeccanica.
“Indonesia appears engaged in a major program of modernization in the field of infrastructure and industrial and Italy can be a key player within this process”
The italian companies are involved in the construction of railways, havens, bridges and airports to support the development on Indonesia. We are talking of very important works, defined “sea highways” that would provide the backbones of a country that counts more than 18.000 islands.
Mr. Ugo Castellotti, CEO of Maccaferri Southeast Asia and Pacific, has been present at this important event on the behalf of Officine Maccaferri.
Maccaferri Indonesian subsidiary dates back almost 30 years. The Tangerang factory produces high standard products offering the best Maccaferri’s solution to several sectors like mining and coastal works.
We are proud to have been named by our President as an example of the Italian industry willing to promote the growth of our country and of those, like Indonesia, were our subsidiaries are present around the world.
We are striving, as Mr. Mattarella said, to represent worldwide the creativity, the high quality, the will of Italians and their ability to work together with other people to achieve higher and higher results.
