Maccaferri will attend the International Technical Seminar of the IPWE on January, 12th and 13th 2017 at Mumbai
The main topic of the conference is “Challenges in Design and Maintenance of Track under Mixed Traffic Regime of Semi High Speed and Heavy Axle Load”
The seminar aims to connect delegates from the railway industry as well as notable representatives of institutions and academia to stimulate a highlevel fruitful technical discussion on the main topics. The papers that will be presented and discussed during the seminar have been evaluated and selected by the Indian Railway Institute of Civil Engineering (IRICEN) and will be supported by extensive field data.
A technical exhibition will also take place along with the seminar. This will exhibit various developments/innovations made in track and bridge technology and new products and processes connected with railway developments in India and abroad. One of the seminar sessions will be dedicated to presentations by industry exhibitors.
The event is organised by the Institution of Permanent Way Engineers (India), under the auspices of the Indian Ministry of Railways. The IPWE is a technical body, playing a vital role in spreading and sharing of technical knowledge on design construction and maintenance of permanent ways, bridges and other structures amongst the members of the railway industry.
