    Rumah Sakit Otorita Batam (RSOB) is the first hospital in the city of Batam. The hospital, which was established in 1971, is located on Jl. Dr. Ciptomangunkusumo, Batam, Riau Islands. Starting from a polyclinic managed by Pertamina, over time RSOB has grown rapidly and provides health services with good quality and international standards. RSOB is located in a green environment, surrounded by lakes, trees, and has fresh air. In the construction of its facilities, RSOB also pays attention to the materials to be used. To protect the cut slopes caused by the construction of the facility from soil erosion, RSOB requested a natural and environmentally friendly solution instead of using shotcrete or stone walls to maintain a green environment at RSOB.<\/p>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n

    Maccaferri Indonesia meets those criteria with an erosion control system that enables vegetation, is permeable, easy to install, price competitive, and of course can keep the environment green. The solution is an erosion control blanket called MacMat\u00ae HS. The total area that needs to be protected during this project is approximately 8,460m2. MacMat\u00ae HS can be installed on steep slopes and serves as a medium for planting vegetation as well as preliminary protection against slope surface erosion. After the erosion control material has been properly installed on the cut slope, the next step is planting vegetation with the mulching method. Mulching material consists of planting media, seeds, and fertilizers.
