The walls will carry a load of a DT-40 vehicle or equivalent to a 10 kPa load. The solution proposed is Paramesh, which is a combination of the Terramesh\u00ae system as secondary reinforcement and\u202f<\/em><a href=\"\/?p=6548\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><em>ParaLink\u2122<\/em><\/a><em>\u202f300 as primary reinforcement to provide stability to the system.<\/em>\u202f&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n<p>PT Indexim Coalindo is a coal mining company operating in the East Kutai area, East Kalimantan Province. Two wing walls need to be constructed next to the concrete retaining wall crusher of Indexim Pit Crusher located in Kaliorang District. The concrete wall as the main pit crusher has already been constructed by the owner. However, better construction time and cost efficiency are needed for these two wing walls.\u202f&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n<p><strong>The soil condition\u202fconsists\u202fof a layer of organic soil with a thickness of 1-2 m, then covered by hard silty clay which is very dense and even contains coal material,\u202ffollowed by moderately weathered siltstone material.\u202fThe total area of\u202fthe\u202fwing wall facing is about 165 m2 with\u202fa\u202ftotal height range between 11m, 9.5m,\u202fand 7 m. These walls will carry\u202fa\u202fload of\u202fa\u202fDT-40 vehicle or equivalent of\u202fa\u202f10 kPa load.<\/strong><strong>\u202f<\/strong>&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n<p>The solution we propose is Paramesh, which is a combination of the\u202f<a href=\"https:\/\/www.maccaferri.com\/id\/en\/products\/terramesh\/?utm_source=kaliorangnews&amp;utm_medium=digital&amp;utm_campaign=terrameshen%22%20\\t%20%22_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Terramesh\u00ae<\/a>\u202fsystem\u202fand\u202fGeogrid (<a href=\"\/?page_id=2882&#038;category-link=&amp;r=paraproducts&amp;sectors-select=&amp;applications-select=&amp;solutions-select=&amp;products-select=&amp;location-select=&amp;full=on\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Paraproducts<\/a>\u202fand\u202f<a href=\"\/?page_id=2882&#038;category-link=&amp;r=MacGrid&amp;sectors-select=&amp;applications-select=&amp;solutions-select=&amp;products-select=&amp;location-select=&amp;full=on\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">MacGrid\u2122<\/a>). In this project,\u202fthe\u202fTerramesh\u00ae\u202fsystem\u202fthat\u202facts\u202fas secondary reinforcement was combined with\u202f<a href=\"\/?p=6548\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">ParaLink\u2122<\/a>\u202f300 as primary reinforcement to provide\u202fstability to the system.\u202fThe\u202fexcavated soil at the project site\u202fis proposed to\u202fbe reused as\u202ffill material\u202fto maximize time and cost efficiency,\u202ffollowing\u202fthe owner\u2019s expectations.\u202f&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n<p>Maccaferri Indonesia provides comprehensive services starting from the design and planning stage with technical recommendations, manufacture and supply materials, and construction stage with Product Assistance.
