Jakarta, June 11, 2025<\/strong> \u2013 At the Indo Defence Expo 2024<\/strong>, held in JIEXPO Kemayoran, Maccaferri Indonesia<\/strong> demonstrated its strategic role as a provider of engineering solutions that not only support national defence needs but also play a key role in disaster mitigation<\/strong>, infrastructure recovery<\/strong>, and protection of high-risk areas<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n

Under the theme \u201cDefence Partnerships for Global Peace & Stability,\u201d<\/strong> Maccaferri introduced a range of engineering solutions relevant to modern military<\/strong>, civil security<\/strong>, and disaster response<\/strong> needs\u2014addressing both global and local challenges.<\/p><\/div><\/div><\/div>

During the exhibition, Maccaferri showcased several reliable systems, including:<\/p>\n\n

  • EBS MAC (Expeditionary Barrier System)<\/strong> \u2013 A modular barrier used to protect critical infrastructure, logistics hubs, and temporary shelters in post-disaster areas. It is easy to deploy, flexible, and built to NATO standards.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n
    • EBS MAC FE<\/strong> \u2013 A specialized version for flood control, ideal for fast response in natural disaster scenarios.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n
      • MacSafe\u00ae<\/strong> \u2013 Designed for public areas to protect vital facilities from potential threats posed by uncontrolled vehicles.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n
        • Anti-Drone Protection and Ground Stabilization<\/strong> \u2013 Rockfall barriers repurposed as aerial obstacle systems, applicable both vertically and horizontally. ACBM<\/strong> and SubMac<\/strong> are used for rapid ground stabilization, suitable for emergency tracks, logistics access, or temporary infrastructure zones. Green Terramesh\u2122<\/strong> and ParaGrid\u2122<\/strong> are also effective as energy-dissipating structures and additional protection in sensitive areas\u2014while supporting environmental preservation and landscape safety.<\/li><\/ul><\/div>\n\n

          The Maccaferri booth welcomed a wide range of visitors from government agencies, disaster management institutions, and defence sectors\u2014including representatives from TNI Zeni<\/strong>, who explored the application of these systems for strategic infrastructure development<\/strong> and post-disaster rehabilitation<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n
