REMEDIATION AND ENVIRONMENTAL RESTORATION OF THE MUNICIPAL DUMP
Problem
The former municipal landfill in Montefreddo in the municipality of Santeramo in Colle needed to be made safe and restored from an environmental point of view. It was therefore necessary to waterproof it definitively, drain the rainwater and provide for the greening of the upper and side parts. Furthermore, a support work was needed for the lateral embankments.
Solution
Lu0026#39;impiego del sistema terramesh u0026#34;Lineru0026#34; costituito dal sistema Terramesh Verde o Liner con inserito allu0026#39;interno un cassero sul quale è stato posto un geocomposito bentonitico Macline GCL W 20 ha risolto la problematica relativa al sostegno e impermeabilizzazione della parte inferiore. Il paramento è stato realizzato sia con la tipologia terramesh verde che con terramesh mineral in modo da agevolare il drenaggio delle acque superficiali e al tempo stesso da avere un rinverdimento. Per completare la parte sommitale del capping della discarica è stato previstou0026nbsp;geocomposito bentonitico Macline GCL W 20, geocomposito drenante Macdrain W 1091, geostuoia rinforzata Macmat R1 e biostuoia per agevolare il rinverdimento.
